A 3D Animation Explainer Video designed for a niche contact lens manufacturer
The client had a very specific scientific requirement of explaining the lens molding process and how this unique scleral contact lens helps correct Keratoconus and Irregular Corneas. We were tasked with the end to end design of the 3D animation video explaining their services. The Video required to put forward the complex ideas of medical principles, light theory, and wavefront-guided optics.
The video design and implementation provided an exhaustive challenge on the design pipeline. Due to the strict scientific guidelines and the complex nature of the medical services provided, our team was tasked with an in-depth research phase. Based on our internal research and the understanding of the client’s requirements we provide a first round of visuals designed in 3D to fit the storyboard. The whole script was divided into specific shots and 3D assets were modeled accordingly keeping the final animation in mind. After multiple revisions and versions the consensus was reached and both our team and the client were extremely happy with the storyboard.
Proceeding to the animation phase the project provided an every growing challenge. 3D assets and models were required to be animated exactly in sync to Voice Over. Transitions, cuts and edits needed to seamlessly match the 3D content with the voice over all the way expressing the complex ideas of cloud security.
